Andy Murray was on the scoresheet but ended up on the losing side as an ATP World Tour All-Star XI were beaten 4-2 by the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in a charity football match in Florida.

The game was organised for the benefit of victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan and featured a galaxy of tennis stars who pitted their wits on the pitch against the American second division side.

Marcos Baghdatis netted the other goal for the All-Stars and was later voted most valuable player.

Novak Djokovic captained the side, while Japan's Kei Nishikori featured and world number one Rafael Nadal also saw action from the bench.

The 40-minute match was followed by a gala dinner in aid of the American Red Cross's efforts in Japan.
